I stood on my balcony, watching the stars. This was one beautiful night. I just wish I had someone to share it with. I sighed, resting my head on my hand. Will I ever find that special someone?
"Gaara?"
I turned around only to see Matsuri. The only girl close to me besides my sister, Temari.
"Oh. Hey, Matsuri."
"What's wrong?" she asked, concern in her voice.
"Nothing," I replied. "I'm fine. I just need to some thinking space."
"You sure?"
"Yes," I said as I used my Desert Elevation to make a floating sand platform. I stepped on and was about to ascend until Matsuri grabbed me by the arm.
"Take me with you."
I sighed, took her hand, and helped her on. She wrapped her arms around my waist, holding on tightly.
"What?" she said. "you wouldn't want me to fall off, would you?"
I wanted to say something, but her embrace relaxed me. We ascended high into the air, getting a good view of Suna, the stars, and the moon.
"Wow," Matsuri said in amazement. "This is such a wonderful sight, Gaara-sama."
I couldn't bare to keep it a secret anymore. Time to let it out:
"Matsuri. I-I love you. You were the only student not afraid of me. Not to mention that you were the only girl who had a crush on me. You don't know how much that meant to me."
Matsuri looked surprised, then she smiled. We kissed eachother with a great passion, the moonlight only adding to the romantic atmosphere. I had never felt this happy in my life.
When our lips parted, we headed back to my balcony. I lifted her into my arms, jumped off the platform and landed on the balcony. Then I carried her into my room, set her down on my bed, and laid down next to her.
She rested her head on my shoulder, smiling. I ran my fingers through her smooth, brown hair and kissed her on the forehead. She blushed at this.
"Thank you, Gaara," she said, nuzzling my neck. That felt good.
"No, Matsuri." I responded. "Thank you. Thank you for making this night the best I've ever had."
With that, we kissed eachother tenderly. I had at last found my special someone.

GAAMATSU: If Only
She was only his eager-to-learn, yet hesitant student. She was only the dark-wide eyed girl with the cute choppy haircut. She was only "Matsuri."
He was only the serious, stoic and calm sensei. He was only the pale eyed, red haired, handsome-looking Suna ninja. He was only "Gaara-sensei."
If only, he thought as he watched her grow into a long limbed, graceful woman, shedding her timidness and fear of weapons.
If only, she thought as she watched him receive the title of Kazekage and protect his village over and over again.
If I told her..., he thought briefly before Deidara finally knocked him unconscious.
If I told him..., she thoug

The Kazekage sighed at his student. She had had them all morning and had they had prevented her from keeping quiet enough to stay hidden during their training. Gaara could hear her a mile away.
How do you get rid of the hiccups? he asked finally, his tall figure leaned against one of the sand columns.

KakaSaku
As snow slowly fell from the dark night sky, a 18 year old pink haired female ninja sat on watch. She looked out over the vast forests the surrounded her home village of Konoha and wept silent tears of self-pity.
'Out of all my friends I am the only girl left.' She thought silently as more tears ran down her cheeks. 'Hinata has Naruto, like they always wanted. Ten-Ten has Neji, like they both always wanted. Ino has Kiba. And Temari has Shino. And yet Im sill here waiting for a man that will never come back.' She buried her face in her arms and began to tremble with tears. "Am I really so ugly?" she asked aloud.
